Many years of experience with various FSW prototyping projects and customers, such as leading OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers, as well as several installed Stirtec FSW machines guarantee the production of a broad range of applications – from smaller application sizes in the HV-inverter segment (L300mm x W300mm) to large full-EV battery trays or floor-panel structures (L2500mm x W1700mm).
The welding process setup is specially tailored to the application’s requirements. Thanks to in-house tool development and manufacturing, Stirtec ensures flexibility for possible upcoming changes to part designs and welding geometries. Associated with the designated clamping device, applications are welded in close-to-serial working environment.
Quality assurance is the foundation of Stirtec’s commitment to excellence in the production phase of prototyping and project ramp-up. Through process monitoring and intermediate testing procedures (destructive and non-destructive) in alignment with the customer’s requirements, every product meets highest quality standards.
